What does the JSON to Excel do?
To convert JSON to Excel, paste a JSON array of objects and download the .xlsx file. Each object becomes a row, nested objects become columns, and lists of objects can become their own sheet linked by an ID column.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert JSON to Excel?
Paste a JSON array of objects, check the preview and choose Download .xlsx. No software is needed.
What happens to nested lists?
By default each list of objects becomes its own sheet, with a link column such as orderId so rows can be matched to their parent.
Are dates and numbers detected?
Yes. ISO dates become real Excel dates and numeric text becomes numbers. Values with leading zeros stay as text. You can turn detection off.
Is the file created on a server?
No. The .xlsx file is generated in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.
